Bruce County is a county in Southwestern Ontario, made up of eight municipalities and a population of approximately 65,000. It offers three distinct areas, the Peninsula which is part of the Niagara Escarpment, known for rock formations, cliffs, and hiking trails. The Lakeshore, which includes nearly 100 km of fresh water and soft sandy beaches, and finally, the Interior Regions which are mainly a strong history of farming.

The Economy

County farms produce beef, lamb, pork, elk, bison, and emu. Agriculture operations include growing corn, beans, canola, soya beans, and wheat.
